Sr. / Prin. Mammography Tech, Per Diem (Sign on bonus eligible)
About The Position
A CRT licensed Mammography Technologist performing screening and diagnostic breast imaging and procedures. The Technologist produces ACR quality images in both diagnostic and screening exams. This technologist is able to interact with clinicians and other departments to coordinate patient care. The Technologist ensures clinical data is correct and appropriate in the Radiology Information System (RIS) and PACS systems. The technologist must participate in performance improvement activities in the department. Maintains appropriate quality control records and participates in routine equipment testing and maintenance. Additionally, the Mammography Technologist must be willing to train and interact with students and new hires when necessary. This per diem role provides coverage at UCSF campus locations, working 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday.
