About The Position

Interim Healthcare Staffing is hiring a full-time Mammographer for a radiology clinic in Edina, Minnesota. The position offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and pays $60–$70 per hour, depending on experience. The Mammographer performs mammography services and supports patients through examinations and procedures in a caring environment. The role may also involve general radiology and DEXA scans; these capabilities are preferred.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Current ARRT certification, including Mammography.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on quality care.
• Detail-oriented.
• Team player.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of mammography experience, with diagnostic mammography preferred.
• Ability to perform general radiology and DEXA scans.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography services.
• Verify the correct patient for each examination.
• Verify the appropriate procedure by checking orders and correlating them with the patient’s symptoms and problems.
• Explain the procedure to patients to help alleviate anxiety related to the examination or equipment.
• Provide necessary assistance to the radiologist and/or physician with procedures.
• Assist the radiologist and ultrasound technologist with invasive breast procedures.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
