About The Position
Interim Healthcare Staffing is hiring a full-time Mammographer for a premier radiology clinic in Edina, Minnesota. The role involves performing mammography services and guiding patients through examinations and procedures in a caring environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The pay rate is $60–$70 per hour, depending on experience.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- Current ARRT certification, including Mammography.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on quality care.
- Detail-oriented.
- Team player.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of mammography experience desired, with diagnostic mammography preferred.
- Ability to perform general radiology and DEXA scans.
Responsibilities
- Perform mammography services.
- Verify the appropriate patient for each examination.
- Verify the appropriate procedure by checking orders and correlating them with the patient’s symptoms and problems.
- Explain the procedure to patients to help alleviate anxiety associated with the exam or equipment.
- Provide necessary assistance to the radiologist and/or physician with procedures.
- Assist the Radiologist and Ultrasound Technologist with invasive breast procedures.
- Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
