About The Position

The Mammography Technologist provides breast imaging and bone density services as part of the diagnostic imaging team. The role performs specialized diagnostic procedures, supports the Lead Mammography Technologist in Quality Control and Quality Assurance programs, and manages patient tracking and follow-up workflows. The technologist maintains imaging quality and patient safety, participates in the ACR accreditation process including image submission, and follows regulatory requirements while contributing to the breast imaging department’s operations.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED.
• 1–3 years of experience, including 1 year of experience under a radiologist’s supervision.
• Registered Technologist Radiography (ARRT), upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (CPR), upon hire.
• Detail-oriented professional with a strong background in diagnostic imaging.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized diagnostic procedures for breast imaging and bone density services.
• Assist the Lead Mammography Technologist with Quality Control and Quality Assurance programs.
• Manage patient tracking and follow-up workflows and ensure clinical requirements are met.
• Maintain high-quality imaging standards and patient safety.
• Participate in the ACR accreditation process, including image submission.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and contribute to the operational excellence of the breast imaging department.
