About The Position

Securitas USA is seeking a dedicated Mall Security Officer to join our team in Hackensack, NJ. This role involves patrolling the premises to maintain order, securing exits, responding to alarms, providing customer service, and preventing vandalism or other criminal behavior. The ideal candidate will be reliable, self-motivated, and possess strong customer service and communication skills.

Requirements

Valid SORA license or willing to obtain
Must possess a Valid Driver’s License with a clean MVR
High School Diploma/GED
Must be 18 years or older
Strong customer service and communication skills are required
Must be reliable, self-motivated, and flexible
Must be available to work Weekends and Holidays
Fluent in English language (reading, writing and speaking)

Responsibilities

Patrol premises on foot and/or in Securitas Vehicle regularly to maintain order and establish presence.
Secure all exits, doors and windows after end of operations.
Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation.
Provide assistance and customer service to guest in need.
Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences.
Responsible for detection of any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, or other criminal behavior.
