About The Position

The Mall Security Officer position is responsible for patrolling premises on foot and/or in a Securitas Vehicle to maintain order and establish presence. This role involves securing all exits, doors, and windows after operations, responding to alarms, and providing assistance and customer service to guests. The officer will also be responsible for detecting suspicious behavior, preventing vandalism, and submitting reports of daily surveillance activities and important occurrences.

Requirements

Valid SORA license or willing to obtain.
Must possess of a Valid Driver’s License with a clean MVR.
High School Diploma/GED.
Must be 18 years or older.
Strong customer service and communication skills are required.
Must be reliable, self-motivated, and flexible.
Must be available to work Weekends and Holidays.
Fluent in English language (reading, writing and speaking).

Responsibilities

Patrol premises on foot and/or in Securitas Vehicle regularly to maintain order and establish presence.
Secure all exits, doors and windows after end of operations.
Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation.
Provide assistance and customer service to guest in need.
Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences.
Responsible for detection any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, or other criminal behavior.
