About The Position
We’re seeking a dynamic, Male Youth Service Specialist to be a vital connector and motivator in the lives of young boys. Requirements
- Associates Degree in Criminal Justice, Community Organizing, Human Services, Sociology, or a related field - Required
- Valid Driver’s License: Driver's license is required to utilize a company provided vehicle - Required
- Comfortable working with an all-male youth client population

- Experience and knowledge working with the juvenile justice system and/or with communities - Preferred
Responsibilities
- Act as a bridge to community services by researching, maintaining, and nurturing relationships with grassroots agencies, health providers, and community organizations.
- Lead engaging cognitive-behavioral and psycho-educational groups tailored to youth’s needs.
- Build and maintain a comprehensive database of community resources.
- Establish and nurture collaborative relationships with community service providers.
- Serve as a resource and support for Juvenile Probation Officers and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate evidence-based cognitive-behavioral groups.
- Lead groups that teach youth practical skills to manage stress, challenges, and everyday life situations effectively.
- Engage youth and families with culturally responsive, respectful communication.
- Document community outreach efforts and connections.
- Promote ethical practices and teamwork.
- Collaborate closely with Family Advocates.
- Coordinate programming schedules.
- Assist with summer initiatives.
- Provide transportation to ensure youth participation.
