About The Position

Jenda Family Services is seeking a part-time MALE Drug Testing Specialist in Lincoln for our random drug testing program. The Drug Screening Technician is responsible for conducting substance use screenings in accordance with established protocols set forth by the State of Nebraska. This role involves direct client interaction, direct observation of sample collection process, and documentation of results. Schedule varies based on testing needs but includes weekdays and weekends. Testing days are 10 hours per day, pre-determined, and typically involve 2-3 testing days per week. Multiple tests per day are conducted in client homes, requiring travel.

Responsibilities

• Collect urine, saliva, and sweat patch samples from clients under direct observation.
• Accurately complete required documentation with clients.
• Interpret and communicate tests results to clients.
• Encouraging sobriety and provide clients with appropriate paperwork.
• Coordinate and schedule clients for off-site testing.
• Travel to client homes for scheduled testing.
• Travel may be required outside the Omaha metro area and to occasionally to Lincoln.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
