Are you an active male NJ CHHA looking for a rewarding position with steady pay and a schedule built around your life? At Seniors Helping Seniors, we currently have a high demand for male caregivers. Many of our senior male clients specifically request a male peer to assist them with personal care, daily routines, and companionship. If you are looking to make a meaningful difference while working with clients who truly value your presence, we want you on our team! We aren’t a large, impersonal corporate agency. Owned and operated by local husband-and-wife team Matt and Erin Eckard, our agency treats caregivers like the true healthcare professionals they are. We thoughtfully match you with long-term, consistent clients based on personality, shared interests, and background.
Requirements
- Active NJ CHHA Certification (Required).
- Valid Driver’s License and a reliable insured vehicle for client transport (Required).
- Strong clinical judgment, clear communication, and a dependable attitude.
Nice To Haves
- Open availability for day, weekend, or overnight shifts is a major plus!
Responsibilities
- Providing engagement, specialized Alzheimer’s/Dementia support, and a friendly connection (many of our guys love talking sports, history, or just having another guy around).
- Providing safe, dignified assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
- Meal planning/preparation and light housekeeping.
- Driving clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and running errands.
