About The Position

Draycott Nursing & Care is hiring a Male Carer to provide domiciliary care in clients’ homes in Kensington and Chelsea. The role involves supporting clients according to their specific diagnoses and needs, helping them live independently at home. Duties may include personal care, meal preparation and serving, daily activities, and following care plans. Carers are matched to client needs and schedules, which may include physical and practical support as well as social and emotional care. The role also involves working with the Draycott Head Office support team and local healthcare professionals to provide a high-quality service.

Requirements

A minimum of 6–12 months of professional care experience.
Flexible availability.
Experience working with clients with Parkinson’s is essential.
Must be willing and able to undertake an Enhanced DBS check, or show proof of being on the DBS Update Service.
Must be eligible to work in the UK without company sponsorship.
Friendly and compassionate attitude, with an understanding and respectful approach to people who need support.

Responsibilities

Communicate effectively with clients and build strong, lasting relationships.
Work closely with the Draycott Head Office support team to ensure the best service for clients.
Keep accurate, factual written accounts of time spent with clients using the care management app.
Be aware of clients’ emotional and spiritual needs.
Observe and follow Draycott Nursing & Care’s Health and Safety policy.
Use a Sara Stedy.
Assist clients with personal care, meal preparation and serving, daily activities, and care plans.
