About The Position

This role involves executing and maintaining makeup application for all venues and Marquee Events throughout Universal Orlando. The primary focus is on providing the application and care of all forms of theater makeup used in the Entertainment Department. The position requires troubleshooting and addressing issues related to makeup application, touch-ups, and removals to ensure show quality and adherence to approved designs. Additionally, the role includes maintaining equipment, supplies, and the cleanliness of the workstation and surrounding area. A key aspect of this role is understanding and actively participating in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established Universal Orlando policies, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• 1-2 years make-up artist experience.
• High school degree or GED.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to airbrush
• Ability to apply simple prosthetics

Responsibilities

• Provides the application and care of all forms of theater make-up utilized in the Entertainment Department throughout Universal Orlando.
• Troubleshoots and addresses issues such as Make- Application, Touchups, Removals to ensure show quality and Approved Designed looks.
• Maintains equipment, supplies and cleanliness of workstation and area.
• Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
