About The Position

The Make Ready Technician role at Gables involves being a resourceful learner with a knack for solving mechanical challenges. This position is responsible for a variety of tasks including touch-up paint, plumbing, and electrical repairs. The technician will approach obstacles head-on and deliver a positive living experience for residents by maintaining the community and taking care of the way they live with Gables' signature service.

Requirements

• Experience in building maintenance, unit inspections, preventative maintenance, and related trades.
• Ability to serve on call on a rotational basis any 7 days of the week, 52 weeks of the year.
• Comfortable working through day-to-day tasks while meeting required deadlines.
• Commitment to the community’s overall appearance.
• Motivation to ensure that all vacant and occupied apartment homes are held to the Gables Standard.
