About The Position

Forest Creek Apartments is hiring a Porter/Make Ready Technician in Conroe. The role prepares vacant apartments for market-ready status through turnover repairs and improvements, and helps maintain the cleanliness, safety, and welcoming appearance of the property. The technician provides customer service to residents, handles grounds and common-area upkeep, assists the maintenance team with light tasks, and reports maintenance or safety concerns to management.

Requirements

• One or more years of experience in maintenance or custodial work is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to occasionally lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments for market-ready status through turnover repairs and improvements.
• Maintain grounds, including snow removal, cleaning, and upkeep of common areas.
• Provide residents with outstanding customer service.
• Keep the property clean and free of trash and debris.
• Pick up trash around buildings, parking areas, and common spaces.
• Clean breezeways, stairwells, and other shared areas.
• Maintain dumpster and trash areas.
• Assist the maintenance team with light tasks when needed.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to management.
• Help keep the community neat and welcoming for residents.
