About The Position

Forest Creek Apartments is hiring a Porter/Make Ready Technician in Conroe. The role prepares vacant apartments for market-ready status through turnover repairs and improvements and helps maintain clean, safe, and welcoming grounds and shared spaces. The technician provides outstanding customer service to residents, assists the maintenance team with light tasks, and reports maintenance or safety concerns to management.

Requirements

• One or more years of experience in maintenance or custodial work is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to occasionally lift 50 pounds.

• Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments for market-ready status through turnover repairs and improvements.
• Maintain and clean the grounds, including common areas; perform snow removal.
• Provide residents with outstanding customer service.
• Keep the property clean and free of trash and debris.
• Pick up trash around buildings, parking areas, and common spaces.
• Clean breezeways, stairwells, and other shared areas.
• Maintain dumpster and trash areas.
• Assist the maintenance team with light tasks when needed.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to management.
• Help keep the community neat and welcoming for residents.
