About The Position

The Make-Ready Tech prepares vacant apartments for market-ready condition by performing non-technical maintenance functions. Work includes caulking, drywall repair, touch-up painting, testing locks and key sets, assisting with property inspections, maintaining exterior lighting, repairing and performing preventive maintenance on grounds equipment, maintaining grounds and common areas, and performing pool maintenance. The technician also assists Maintenance Technicians, the Porter, and the Housekeeper as needed.

The position requires participation in a paid rotating on-call schedule and availability, with notice, for snow, ice, and other site emergencies. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and may change based on business needs.

Requirements

• Active and valid driver's license.
• Personal vehicle.
• Live within a 30-minute commute of the property.
• One year of related experience, or equivalent education and experience.
• Availability for paid rotating on-call participation and emergency events.

Nice To Haves

• HVAC/EPA/CFC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments for market-ready condition.
• Perform caulking, drywall repair, and touch-up painting.
• Test locks and key sets.
• Assist with property inspections.
• Maintain exterior lighting.
• Repair grounds equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, including picking up trash, sweeping sidewalks and driveways, and snow removal.
• Assist Maintenance Technicians, the Porter, and the Housekeeper as necessary.
• Perform pool maintenance.
• Participate in paid rotating on-call coverage and be available for snow, ice, and other site emergencies.
