About The Position

The I&C Sr. Engineer supports the Power Uprate Project at Beaver Valley. The role frequently works independently to identify and perform tasks that meet Vistra objectives, and gathers and analyzes information for Vistra initiatives or to solve complex problems. The engineer develops and maintains effective working relationships with colleagues and external parties. The final pay grade will be based on the applicant’s experience and qualifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited program; an Electrical discipline is preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant job experience is preferred.
• Teamwork and collaboration skills across organizational boundaries.
• Ability to communicate complex issues effectively in writing and verbally.
• Ability to influence others by establishing effective working relationships across organizational boundaries.
• In-depth understanding of power plant equipment and system interrelationships.
• Ability to evaluate technical alternatives in light of their economic contribution to the business.
• Ability to apply systematic problem-solving processes to address complex issues.

Nice To Haves

• Electrical engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Identify and perform tasks required to meet objectives.

• Coordinate assigned projects, studies, and initiatives through completion.

• Prepare and present reports, including recommendations for resolving complex issues.
