About The Position

This Senior I&C Engineer position supports the Power Uprate Project at Beaver Valley. The role frequently works independently to identify and perform tasks that meet Vistra objectives, and supports gathering and analyzing information for company initiatives or complex problems. The position also develops and maintains effective working relationships with others, including external parties.

The role coordinates projects, studies, and initiatives through completion; interprets and analyzes complex issues; and prepares and presents reports with recommendations. It also supports safe working practices and may participate in or lead special projects, committees, and complex problem-solving efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited program; Electrical discipline preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant job experience preferred.
• Ability to collaborate and work across organizational boundaries.
• Ability to communicate complex issues effectively in writing and verbally.
• Ability to influence others by establishing effective working relationships across organizational boundaries.
• In-depth understanding of power plant equipment and system interrelationships.
• Ability to evaluate technical alternatives in light of their economic contribution to the business.
• Ability to apply systematic problem-solving processes to complex issues.

Nice To Haves

• Electrical engineering discipline.
