About The Position

The Major Account Executive, SMB Sales at T-Mobile is a true hunter role, seeking highly skilled, results-oriented, and persistent sales professionals to bring products and services to underserved markets. This role involves meeting and exceeding monthly sales quota objectives by successfully acquiring accounts within an assigned geographic territory. The executive will sell products, services, and solutions to gain new business through advanced prospecting, cold-calling, networking, and generating leads and referrals. They will analyze customer needs and utilize sophisticated solution-based selling techniques to demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services, tailoring customer recommendations, negotiating, and closing business deals.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 4-7 years outside sales experience with demonstrated history of sales achievements in a commissioned environment
  • Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast changing environment that requires a high degree of multi-tasking
  • Demonstrated experience delivering superior customer service and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Effective negotiating and closing skills, including communication, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving.
  • Experience preparing, delivering, and following-up on product/service proposals and pricing quotations
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2 years experience solutions/applications selling
  • 2 years telecommunications / technical sales
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce, leveraging these tools to manage customer relationships and sales activities efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and work leads through prospecting, cold calling, and networking up-market.
  • Identify customer needs and utilize solution-based selling techniques to fully demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services.
  • Recommend wireless solutions with regard to price plans, data and other enhanced services, handsets, and accessories.
  • Devise creative and effective sales approaches, solutions, and proposals.
  • Negotiate and close deals.
  • Partner proactively with Retail Stores in assigned territory to drive Business Sales results through education on Business Sales products and services and closing on Business Sales leads.
  • Fully utilize all sales force automation, funnel management, and prospecting tools.
  • Manage sales funnel and generate reporting on sales activities and forecasting.
  • Continuously update knowledge of products, services, industry trends, and the competitive dynamics of the marketplace.
  • Participate in training opportunities on products and services and attend sales meetings.
