This role focuses on maximizing revenue within a designated territory by selling to new customers using the Akamai Portfolio. It involves focused selling efforts within the channel and reseller network. The Major Account Executive New Accounts will be responsible for building and maintaining high-level strategic partner/reseller relationships, articulating Akamai's value proposition, and building trust with C-Level executives and corporate decision-makers. The role also includes developing a strategic sales plan to create and manage a high-volume sales pipeline, leading partnerships across field marketing and sales representatives for consultative customer engagement, and managing contract negotiations to ensure customer satisfaction and adoption of Akamai technologies.
