The Maintenance series is comprised of four levels, with each level having more complex responsibilities and requirements. The entry-level position focuses on grounds maintenance and assisting higher-level staff, while the middle levels perform general maintenance services and may oversee subordinates on specific projects. The highest level requires advanced expertise in specialized fields and requires a journey level certification or equivalent, with advancement being subject to specific needs and approval by the Board of County Commissioners.
