About The Position
The Hampton Inn in Daly City has an immediate opening for a Maintenance person. The position is part-time and will work Friday and Saturday, 8:30am - 5pm. The basic function of the Maintenance Worker is to assist in the maintenance area. This is a “hands on” job requiring the daily use of a variety of hand and power tools, using caution and protective equipment as needed for each specific job. All work will be coordinated and scheduled by the General Manager.
Requirements
- General knowledge regarding carpentry, painting, electrical troubleshooting, plumbing, drywall, boilers and sprinklers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Fundamental math skills.
- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
- Must have the ability to use, hand-eye coordination, with electric hand tools as well as manual hand tools.
- Applicant must satisfy the Reneson Driver Policy with a valid driver's license that is clean.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the maintenance area.
- Perform daily use of a variety of hand and power tools.
- Conduct minor repairs on appliances, such as washers, dryers, dishwashers, TV’s, air conditioning and other system malfunctions.
