Maintenance
About The Position
The Maintenance position is responsible for maintaining the District's buildings and grounds in optimal condition. This includes performing minor carpentry, electrical, plumbing, heating/cooling repairs and construction, as well as groundskeeping tasks such as snow and ice removal, preparing athletic fields, and mowing/trimming grass. The role also involves implementing EPA standards for environmental waste, loading/unloading trucks, completing maintenance requests, and being available for emergency building issues. Additionally, the individual is expected to promote positive relations within the community and adhere to all Board policies, rules, and regulations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- General working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, heating equipment.
Responsibilities
- Complete minor carpentry, electrical, plumbing heating/cooling repair and construction.
- Remove snow and ice as directed.
- Implement EPA standards relative to environmental waste.
- Load and unload trucks as needed.
- Prepare athletic fields for activities.
- Mow and trim grass as directed.
- Complete maintenance requests as directed.
- Be on call for emergency building issues as needed.
- Promote positive relations between the building, District, Board and community.
- Execute all policies, rules and regulations adopted by the Board.
- Other duties as assigned by building Principal.
