Requirements

  • A hands-on, solutions-focused professional who takes pride in being reliable and resourceful.
  • Skilled in one or more trades, with the ability to quickly learn hotel systems and equipment.
  • Calm under pressure, able to assess problems and take swift, effective action.
  • Physically capable of lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and working in varied indoor/outdoor conditions.
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage time efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable working flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays when needed.
  • Holds or willing to obtain required certifications or licenses per local regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and emergency maintenance tasks including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and general repairs.
  • Respond quickly and courteously to guest and team member requests, prioritizing safety and comfort.
  • Conduct daily property walks and inspections to identify and address maintenance needs.
  • Maintain all tools, equipment, and workspaces in clean and safe condition.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and front desk teams to address in-room issues promptly.
  • Monitor and report major repair needs or safety hazards to engineering leadership.
  • Assist with preventative maintenance programs to ensure long-term functionality of systems and equipment.
  • Support special projects, renovations, or seasonal maintenance as needed.
  • Uphold all safety, security, and OSHA standards while on duty.
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used.
