About The Position

This is a full-time permanent position in a manufacturing environment. The role requires adherence to high ethical standards and a strong commitment to safety. The employee will be responsible for performing maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with safety policies, and contributing to a productive work culture. Key competencies include communication, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, accountability, change management, coaching, and influencing others.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Familiarity with the current system of paint processing.
Ability to read and verbally communicate in English.
Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours per shift.
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead.
Ability to use hands and arms to handle materials, tools, and equipment.
Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently.
Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 75 pounds with assistance.
Ability to push and pull carts, racks, and equipment.
Ability to perform repetitive motions involving hands, wrists, and arms.
Ability to climb ladders and work from elevated platforms.
Maintain visual acuity sufficient to inspect products and identify defects.
Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to dust, noise, fiberglass particles, chemicals, and varying temperatures.
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, hearing protection, respirators, gloves, and steel-toed footwear.
Be familiar with the company's safety program and comply with the safety policy.
Express oneself effectively both orally and in written form.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance tasks in a manufacturing environment.
Participate in annual training for Hazardous Waste Recycling and fire safety.
