About The Position

This is a full-time permanent position in a manufacturing environment. The role requires adherence to high ethical standards and a strong commitment to safety. The employee will be responsible for performing maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with safety policies, and contributing to a productive work culture. Key competencies include communication, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, accountability, change management, coaching, and influencing others.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Familiarity with the current system of paint processing.
  • Ability to read and verbally communicate in English.
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours per shift.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead.
  • Ability to use hands and arms to handle materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 75 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to push and pull carts, racks, and equipment.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions involving hands, wrists, and arms.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work from elevated platforms.
  • Maintain visual acuity sufficient to inspect products and identify defects.
  • Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to dust, noise, fiberglass particles, chemicals, and varying temperatures.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, hearing protection, respirators, gloves, and steel-toed footwear.
  • Be familiar with the company's safety program and comply with the safety policy.
  • Express oneself effectively both orally and in written form.
  • Actively listen to others.
  • Select the best course of action by identifying all the alternatives and then makes a logical assumption.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance tasks in a manufacturing environment.
  • Participate in annual training for Hazardous Waste Recycling and fire safety.
  • Ensure own activities and those of all employees within the facility meet the company's ethical standards.
  • Comply with the company's safety program and policies at all times.
