About The Position

Under limited supervision, perform mechanical repairs or fabrication in a safe, effective and efficient manner. This is a full-time, hourly position.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts job tasks with a positive, safe attitude and maintains a safe work record.
  • Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing machinery.
  • Maintains a good attendance record.
  • Work rotating shifts of various lengths including weekends and holidays.
  • Work on call schedule.
  • Maintains good communication with all plant personnel.
  • Ability to understand and perform assigned job tasks easily and independently while flexible enough to work in team settings.
  • Maintains good housekeeping and completes sanitation duties and paperwork as required.
  • Conducts daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual inspections, reporting any problems noted.
  • Willing to be trained to work various jobs within the facility.
  • Maintain documentation required to perform job duties.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
