About The Position

Friendship Village is seeking a Maintenance professional to join their team. This role involves general maintenance tasks such as fixing, maintaining, or adding items in residents' homes and throughout the campus. The position also requires assisting residents with transportation to and from appointments. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Transportation and valid driver's license
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
Prior maintenance experience required
Able to safely operate maintenance power and hand tools
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Residents, Staff and Guests.
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work in all types of weather.
Frequent need to stand, stop, walk, lift heavy objects (up to 100 pounds).

Responsibilities

Work on general maintenance requests to fix, maintain, or add items in the homes of our retired seniors and throughout all areas of our campus.
Help keep the buildings looking great, both inside and out.
Often take residents to and from appointments.
Be flexible and willing to work any hours including weekends or holidays and on-call basis as needed.
