Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Participate in annual training for Hazardous Waste Recycling and fire safety.
  • Familiar with the current system of paint processing used.
  • Ability to read and verbally communicate in English.
  • Frequently stand and walk for up to 12 hours per shift.
  • Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead.
  • Frequently use hands and arms to handle materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently.
  • Occasionally lift and move up to 75 pounds with assistance.
  • Push and pull carts, racks, and equipment throughout the work area.
  • Perform repetitive motions involving hands, wrists, and arms.
  • Climb ladders and work from elevated platforms as required.
  • Maintain visual acuity sufficient to inspect products and identify defects.
  • Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to dust, fiberglass particles, chemicals, and varying temperatures.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, hearing protection, respirators, gloves, and steel-toed footwear.
  • Expresses oneself effectively both orally and in written form.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of manufacturing equipment, facility systems, and production support machinery to ensure safe and efficient operations throughout the LEER Group facility.
  • Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and building systems to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.
  • Responds to equipment breakdowns, diagnoses root causes of failures, completes repairs in a timely manner, and supports continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.
  • Plays a critical part in maintaining production efficiency, supporting manufacturing operations, and ensuring equipment and facility assets operate at peak performance while meeting LEER Group safety and quality standards.
