About The Position

The Maintenance personnel plays a vital role in supporting the manufacturing team by ensuring that all production equipment and facilities are well-maintained, safe, and functioning efficiently. This position focuses on preventive maintenance, timely repairs, and continuous improvement of equipment reliability across the production floor.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance or related field preferred.
2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Design and fabricate tooling, fixtures, and jigs to support production efficiency and quality.
Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of equipment and systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
Safely lift and transport heavy materials and equipment weighing up to 50–70 lbs.
Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in compliance with safety guidelines and company procedures.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office; experience with maintenance tracking or ERP systems is a plus.
Maintain a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, or Six Sigma practices.
Experience in electronics manufacturing or high-precision environments.
Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and industrial safety practices.

Responsibilities

Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on a variety of manufacturing equipment and systems.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production flow.
Maintain accurate maintenance records including logs, repairs, and parts usage.
Respond to equipment failures and production calls promptly and efficiently.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams to identify and implement equipment and process improvements.
Assist in the installation and set-up of new machinery and equipment.
Conduct safety inspections and proactively identify potential hazards or maintenance needs.
Read and interpret equipment manuals, technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Participate in training initiatives and help train operators on basic maintenance procedures as needed.
Perform local deliveries and pickups using company vehicles as needed.
Construct custom shipping crates and packaging solutions when required.
Coordinate with vendors to obtain quotes and support factory relocations and facility improvements.
