About The Position
Mountain View Community is hiring a Maintenance Worker for its Maintenance Department in a nursing home environment. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position on the second shift, with a fixed and predictable schedule. The employee must be willing to temporarily adjust the schedule as needed and work a rotating weekend schedule and some holidays. The role includes general building maintenance and assistance with nightly custodial responsibilities, with daily interaction with staff and residents. This is not an entry-level position. The starting rate is $23.20 or more, depending on experience.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of verifiable experience in general building maintenance.
- Strong work ethic.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Desire to work in a nursing home environment.
- Willingness to temporarily adjust the schedule as needed.
- Willingness to work a rotating weekend schedule and some holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in one or more trades, such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, or painting.
