About The Position

The Erie-Western Pennsylvania Port Authority is seeking a Maintenance Worker for immediate hire to join our team. As a Maintenance Crew Member, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities and equipment.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Previous experience in general maintenance and repairs.
• Experience using hand tools, landscape equipment, and power tools is necessary.
• Must be familiar with water safety techniques and be comfortable working on and around the water.

• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Performing general maintenance and repair work on buildings, facilities, and equipment.
• Conducting landscaping and groundskeeping tasks such as mowing, trimming, litter and trash pickups.
• Assisting in the maintenance and repair of docks, piers, and other waterfront structures.
• The operation of varying types of equipment and vehicles ranging from small lawn care equipment to backhoes and tractors, and their respective attachments. Also including golf carts, pickup and dump trucks.
• Perform other related duties as assigned in support of Port operations
