Your day starts with a walk through the property, checking key areas, reviewing maintenance requests, and making sure the hotel is ready for the day ahead. You’ll spend your time balancing preventive maintenance with the unexpected needs of a busy hotel—from inspecting equipment and completing routine repairs to troubleshooting guest room issues and partnering with other departments to keep everything running smoothly. As Maintenance Manager, you’re not just there to fix things when they break—you take pride in preventing problems before they happen. You notice the loose handle, dripping faucet, scuffed wall, or equipment that doesn’t sound quite right and take action before it impacts a guest or teammate. At the end of the day, some of your best work may be the work our guests never notice, because everything simply works the way it should.
