The Maintenance Worker will be responsible for assisting with preventative maintenance, performing minor repairs, painting, maintaining the exterior of the hotel, checking and repairing electrical systems, performing maintenance on electronic locks and fixtures, monitoring and testing the fire alarm/life safety system, refurbishing furniture and fixtures, maintaining all tools and equipment, handling guest requests professionally, and adhering to all safety policies. This role also involves maintaining emergency plans, inspecting fire protection systems, keeping evacuation plans current, maintaining written emergency procedures, accompanying inspectors, maintaining a list of primary contractors, coordinating contractor activities, and keeping accurate completion records. Special projects and other duties as assigned by Management are also part of the role.
