Maintenance Worker-Temporary Position
About The Position
Madera Community Hospital is a General Acute Care, private, not-for-profit hospital dedicated to improving and maintaining the health and wellness of residents throughout the Central Valley. Madera Community Hospital is a growing acute care facility seeking talented individuals with a drive to provide quality care and dedicated to making a difference in our community. This position inspects, maintains, repairs and documents the operation and status of the Hospital buildings and related systems and equipment. Provides other functions and services as necessary and appropriate to ensure a comfortable, safe healthcare environment, as well as an orderly flow of the support activities for continued Hospital operations.
Requirements
- Requires forklift certificate.
- Must have knowledge of the operation of power plants, electrical distribution, and steam generation, HVAC and sanitation systems.
- Knowledge and proficiency in the use of hand tools and portable and stationary power tools.
Nice To Haves
- Prefer technical or trade education/training in a building trade.
- Prefer 2 years experience in facility general maintenance or medical building maintenance or equivalent.
- Prefer Crises Intervention training.
- Prefer knowledge of formal maintenance procedures.
