About The Position
Nobles County is seeking a Temporary Worker for Highway Engineering/Maintenance. This role will provide support to both engineering and highway maintenance staff. The position is a temporary, 67-day assignment.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Able to work long hours in a physically demanding job.
- County application forms are required.
Responsibilities
- Assist engineering staff in engineering construction inspection activities by performing surveying, staking, inspection and testing of materials.
- Assist highway maintenance staff in performing bituminous and concrete patching, crack sealing, and mowing.
