About The Position

The Maintenance Worker performs job functions in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing Valley Senior Living. This ensures that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner. As a valued care partner, the Maintenance Worker is committed to supporting the mission, vision, and values of Valley Senior Living and will honor the importance of person-centered care.

Requirements

  • On-call rotation every six (6) weeks (24 hours a day for seven (7) days on a weekly rotation).

Responsibilities

  • Perform tasks and assist in the Maintenance, painting, and grounds work in accordance with facility needs.
  • Responsible for facilities' preventative maintenance, boilers, boiler repair, air handlers, exhaust fan, hot water heaters, circulating pumps and motors, air conditioning units, kitchen equipment, custodial equipment, and grounds.
  • Keep records of all the maintenance and preventative maintenance repairs.
  • Work with vendors and outside contractors.
  • Be on-call for all facilities every six (6) weeks (24 hours a day for seven (7) days on a weekly rotation).
