The position requires performing machine repair and installation, including tasks like replacing motors, rebuilding gearboxes, running piping, overhauling pumps, replacing seals, and performing welding and cutting. The Maintenance Worker is also responsible for daily greasing and oiling of plant equipment, diagnosing and replacing parts, repairing control circuits, and maintaining a clean work area. Safety is paramount, requiring the use of personal protective equipment, adherence to safety rules, and participation in safety meetings.
