About The Position

Aramark Remote Workplace Services are hiring for a Maintenance Worker for a remote camp near La Loche Saskatchewan.  Strong experience and a familiarity with remote camp maintenance work is required. The Maintenance Worker is responsible for supporting and performing a variety of work including the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds in a remote camp setting in assigned area(s). Preventative maintenance work as well as trouble shooting for all  maintenance projects to sustain optimal performance while minimizing operating costs.   Comprehensive benefit packages are offered. Transportation is provided to and from site Rotation are 14 days on/ 14 days off.   Must have Drivers License & Drivers Abstract  Certifications required:  Fall Arrest Confined Space Please note all candidates considered for hire will be required to successfully pass a  criminal background check

Requirements

  • Previous maintenance experience preferred
  • Ability to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks
  • Ability to communicate effectively; written and orally in English
  • Must be available to work rotational work
  • Must have Drivers License & Drivers Abstract
  • Fall Arrest Certification
  • Confined Space Certification

Responsibilities

  • Attends all required safety meetings and participates in Client and/or Aramark Emergency Response Procedures.
  • Performs general maintenance duties, including furnace repair, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, kitchen equipment repair, and sewage system maintenance.
  • Repairs various fixtures and hardware such as doors, windows, minor appliances, and office equipment.
  • Inspects assigned areas on a routine basis and performs maintenance to ensure facilities remain functional and serviceable.
  • Completes daily, weekly, and monthly checklists for scheduled building and equipment maintenance.
  • Meets daily with the supervisor to discuss duties, schedules, and instructions.
  • Identifies major maintenance needs and recommends appropriate corrective actions.
  • Supports the maintenance, setup, and demobilization of modular units.
  • Demonstrates safe and efficient use of tools, machinery, and maintenance equipment.
  • Shows commitment to professional growth by following departmental and organizational training requirements.
  • Adheres to all Aramark safety policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
