About The Position

Under the direction of the Clinical Director the maintenance worker will perform all functions to maintain the physical premises of the programs. The Clinics provide psychotherapeutic and psychopharmacological therapy, as well as individual, group, family therapy, crisis intervention, medication management, case management and collateral sessions. Our staff members follow an approach to health care that emphasizes wellness, recovery, trauma-informed care, and physical-behavioral health integration.

Requirements

1 year experience required.
Ability to stand for longer periods of time; able to bend, kneel, and crouch.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull weight up to 50 lbs.
Able to travel to multiple locations within the five boroughs as needed.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Bilingual Spanish/English; Russian/English; Creole/English; Chinese/English; Korean/English speaking preferred.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, holidays according to the needs of program operation.

Responsibilities

Responsible for recycling and garbage collections, including compactor operation and placement of refuse in appropriate place for pick-up.
Daily cleaning of floors, doors, windows, elevators, lobby, offices, laundry room, common restrooms.
Immediate availability to ensure timely and complete removal of snow.
Unpack supply deliveries and stock them appropriately.
Ability to work closely and cooperatively with superintendent to ensure optimum maintenance of the property.
