About The Position

This Maintenance Worker position is responsible for delivering excellent service within the Facilities Department, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment across the main campus and Milford location. The role involves a variety of tasks including floor care, general cleaning, preventative and reactive maintenance, and security duties. The ideal candidate will contribute to the organization's mission and values through compassionate, hospitable, and stewardship-driven daily operations.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Must be able to operate small yard equipment effectively.
Driver's License required.
Wall repair and painting experience is required.
Experience in taping, rolling, brushing, and cutting edges.
Minor sheetrock installation experience.
Taping, mudding, and texturing experience.

Nice To Haves

Floor care experience helpful.

Responsibilities

Performs floor care duties including daily disinfection and routine waxing of hardwood floors.
Maintains carpeted areas with daily care and routine extraction and cleaning.
Performs general housekeeping and other duties as assigned.
Conducts general preventative and reactive maintenance duties such as inspecting and repairing equipment, the facility, and its systems.
Secures and opens the facility daily and responds to security concerns.
Performs snow removal from sidewalks and facility exits during snow events using a tractor and shovel.
