About The Position

The Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing a variety of work including the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds in assigned area(s). Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs. This role is responsible for overseeing the repair, replacement, and preventative maintenance of complex electrical systems across an institutional and clinical environment. This role is ideal for someone who brings maintenance experience, can lead from the front, and is comfortable operating in a structured, compliance-driven environment.

Requirements

  • Previous maintenance experience preferred
  • Ability to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks
  • Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Prior experience leading or supervising a team
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Maintains a friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers.
  • Lead in the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems
  • Oversee preventative maintenance programs to ensure system reliability and uptime
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with safety standards
  • Train, coach, and develop team members while working alongside them in the field
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and institutional standards
  • Maintain proper inventory levels of tools, materials, and equipment
  • Prepare cost estimates, work plans, and maintenance reports
  • Manage work orders and documentation within a CMMS system
  • Coordinate with leadership, vendors, and other departments as needed
  • Participate in rotational on-call coverage for after-hours, weekend, and holiday electrical emergencies
  • Demonstrates efficient and safe use of equipment and tools.
  • Demonstrates commitment to professional growth and competence by adherence to component and departmental training commitments.
  • Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures.
