Build, Maintain, and Protect the Facilities That Support Our Community Bank. As a Maintenance Worker, you’ll play a hands-on role in supporting the safety, appearance, and reliability of our bank’s facilities across Gettysburg and surrounding locations. This is not a “fix-it-when-it-breaks” job. It’s an opportunity to be the go-to professional who ensures our buildings, systems, and grounds consistently reflect the quality and trust our customers expect.

Requirements

• High school diploma, vocational training, or equivalent
• At least 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a similar role
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general building maintenance
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. work indoors and outdoors, and perform physical tasks throughout the day
• Valid driver’s license and comfort traveling between locations
• Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and follow-through
• Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with internal teams and external vendors

Responsibilities

• Keeping all bank facilities in top working order, proactively identifying and resolving maintenance issues related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and building structures.
• Ensuring safety and compliance, including inspections and upkeep of fire extinguishers, alarm systems, and physical security components.
• Maintaining professional-looking grounds and interiors, from seasonal landscaping and snow removal to painting, carpet cleaning, and parking lot maintenance.
• Supporting renovations, ATM installations, and office moves, coordinating closely with internal teams and external vendors to meet specifications and timelines.
• Managing maintenance resources responsibly, including assisting with vendor bids, overseeing contracted work, purchasing supplies, and maintaining accurate records and fixed asset inventories.
• Communicating clearly and reliably, keeping supervisors informed of issues, progress, and recommendations to prevent disruptions to bank operations.
