About The Position
Concordia at SpiriTrust – UTZ is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to help maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents and staff. This role involves a daylight schedule, working every 3rd weekend, a 3-week on-call rotation, and holidays as needed.
Requirements
- Previous maintenance experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems
- Experience using hand and power tools safely
- Ability to lift, bend, climb, and perform physical work throughout the day
- High school diploma or GED required
Nice To Haves
- HVAC, Building Maintenance Technology, or related certification preferred
- CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional) certification is a plus
Responsibilities
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair building systems and equipment in a timely and professional manner
- Perform basic electrical maintenance, including replacing light bulbs, outlets, and fixtures
- Maintain heating, ventilation, plumbing, and refrigeration systems
- Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspections including pest control and upkeep
- Repair doors, locks, windows, walls, and other building components
- Monitor and assist with fire alarm and safety systems
- Complete painting, carpentry, landscaping, and general maintenance projects
