About The Position

This role involves performing a variety of routine maintenance tasks on the facility and its grounds. Responsibilities include maintaining the general plant and facility in good repair to ensure a safe, clean, and orderly environment. The position also requires maintaining a positive and calm atmosphere throughout the facility and ensuring maintenance supplies are replenished. The Maintenance Worker will also assist with lifting heavy equipment and perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• Ability to perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, and driveways.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and repair on facility and equipment (plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical).
• Ability to clean windows and screens.
• Ability to replace light bulbs and perform cleaning in high places.
• Ability to service heating and cooling units/systems.
• Ability to perform unscheduled maintenance tasks.
• Ability to maintain a safe, clean, and orderly environment.
• Ability to maintain a positive and calm atmosphere.
• Ability to replenish maintenance supplies.
• Ability to assist with lifting heavy equipment and supplies.
• Willingness to perform other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, and driveways by cutting, trimming, policing, and sweeping as necessary/directed.
• Perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment, including plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical tasks, in accordance with established procedures.
• Clean windows and screens as directed.
• Replace burned-out light bulbs (exit lights, overhead lights, fluorescent lights, room call lights) and perform cleaning duties in high places.
• Service heating and cooling units/systems according to manufacturer specifications and established policies and procedures.
• Perform unscheduled maintenance tasks as directed.
• Maintain the general plant and facility in good repair, ensuring a safe, clean, and orderly environment.
• Maintain a positive and calm atmosphere throughout the facility.
• Ensure maintenance supplies are replenished in work areas as necessary.
• Assist with lifting heavy equipment, supplies, etc., as directed or requested.
• Perform other related duties as may become necessary or as directed by your supervisor, department director, and/or administrator.
