This role is responsible for maintaining buildings/facilities and parking areas. The position may involve troubleshooting and performing a variety of complicated tasks with little or no supervision, relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The Maintenance Worker II is expected to be familiar with a wide variety of maintenance practices and procedures, promote an environment of teamwork, represent INTRUST Bank positively, and maintain strict standards of confidentiality.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent and/or 5 years of experience in related field required.
  • Building maintenance/engineering background with a high level of proficiency in multiple trades.
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical lighting and wiring, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC.
  • Ability to read and follow verbal instructions.
  • Ability to produce written documents using proper construction, punctuation and grammar.
  • Ability to run cash register and make change.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word.
  • Proficient in task and meeting scheduling.
  • Proficient in entering and retrieving information from Excel spreadsheets, energy management system, and computerized maintenance management system.

Nice To Haves

  • EPA Universal refrigerant certificate desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general and preventive maintenance at bank facilities (downtown, branches, parking garages).
  • Complete repairs across multiple trades, including carpentry, plumbing, roofing, painting, lighting (bulbs and ballasts), ceiling tiles, doors, locks, and furniture.
  • Diagnose issues and determine appropriate tools, materials, and repair methods.
  • Maintain and repair HVAC systems, including motors, belts, blowers, condensers, filter changes, and equipment cleaning.
  • Complete daily service requests and log work in the maintenance system.
  • Perform weekly inspections and report findings.
  • Monitor building systems, including HVAC and energy management systems.
  • Support maintenance of rooftop units (RTUs), cooling towers, boilers, and chillers.
  • Assist with inventory tracking (tools, parts, equipment).
  • Coordinate and oversee contractors and vendors, including scheduling, access, insurance verification, and worksite setup and cleanup.
  • Partner with internal teams (Retail, Marketing, IT, etc.) on projects.
  • Perform custodial tasks as needed.
  • Maintain clean and safe work areas.
  • Set up meeting rooms when needed.
  • Maintain company vehicles (cleaning, fueling, servicing).
  • Support emergency response and disaster recovery efforts.
  • Maintain bank-owned properties.
  • Perform seasonal duties (e.g., snow removal, fountain maintenance).
  • Assist with parking garage operations when needed.
  • Take on additional tasks as assigned.
