Under general supervision, the Maintenance Worker II must be a self-starter and will be responsible for a variety of job duties including metal working (welding stainless steel, constructing sheet metal fabrications, and machining with manual machines like mill, lathe, and band saws). The role also involves servicing, maintaining, and repairing commercial/industrial HVAC air handling equipment, performing architectural work (renovations, painting, carpentry, building repairs), and preventive maintenance to building structures. Additionally, the position requires servicing and repairing commercial refrigeration equipment. The Maintenance Worker II will be required to respond promptly to various alarms, including equipment monitoring systems, HVAC alarms, and IT system alarms.
