About The Position

Gradall Industries is seeking a Maintenance Utility professional to join their team. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of facilities and equipment, performing basic preventative maintenance, and assisting other maintenance classifications. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, follow instructions, and contribute to a safe and productive work environment. Requirements

  • Must be able to read, write legibly and carry out verbal and written instructions.
  • Must be able to operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner as needed to complete assigned duties.
  • Must work with minimum supervision.
  • Must be able to utilize basic computer functions.
  • Knowledge of RCRA and Hazardous waste handling.
  • Knowledge of GMS and safety systems to ensure compliance.
  • Employees are expected to be familiar with the company’s Quality Policy, actively support continuous improvement efforts, and understand how their work helps uphold our quality standards.
  • Must be medically cleared to wear a respirator.

Nice To Haves

  • One year of experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Cleaning and sanitation of facilities and equipment using industrial chemicals and cleaners.
  • Operation of powered industrial forklifts, scissor lift, power sweeper, pallet jacks, personnel cart, etc.
  • Basic preventative maintenance inspections and tasks, including fire extinguisher checks, eye wash/shower checks, and lighting checks.
  • Basic facilities maintenance including room set-ups, furniture movement, and parking lot signs.
  • Assisting other maintenance classifications.
  • Storing maintenance parts in their proper location in the maintenance storeroom, ensuring parts are identified and the storeroom is neat and orderly.
  • Working in a safe and cautious manner at all times to avoid injury and damage.
  • Maintaining a productive work pace and performing tasks in accordance with quality standards.
  • Following written and verbal work instructions.
  • Maintaining a clean, neat, and organized work area.
  • Effectively communicating with co-workers and supervision.
  • Providing support for new and less experienced employees by demonstrating correct procedures, answering questions, sharing knowledge, and assisting with on-the-job training.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
  • May be assigned to work in any department as needed to meet organizational goals.
