Maintenance Training Grade III - Carthage, MO
About The Position
This is a full-time, hourly position. The role of Maintenance III is responsible for performing scheduled maintenance inspections and lubrication on plant equipment, recording lubricant quantities and other data, documenting inspection and service activity, and repairing and replacing equipment as needed. This role also involves troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and steam systems, and performing cutting, welding, and fabrication when needed. The position requires availability to work overtime as needed daily and mandatory availability for rotating 24-hour emergency call-in and rotating weekend shifts. Qualified individuals will advance through Maintenance training grades to Maintenance A as qualifications are met and approved.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and transportation required
- Strong Mechanical Aptitude

- Ability to effectively communicate with plant management, plant personnel, and vendors
- Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English
- Ability and willingness to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities
- Demonstrated ability to comply with company/facility policies and procedures
- Ability to work from elevated areas utilizing fall protection equipment as required
- Demonstrated understanding of failure modes and ability to assess equipment condition, identify defects and make repair recommendations
Responsibilities
