About The Position

Morgan Properties is offering a full-time paid training program to help individuals start a career in apartment maintenance. This program, known as the Fix It Forward Program, requires no prior experience and focuses on teaching essential skills through on-the-job training. Participants will progress through three levels of training over 3 to 6 months, gaining skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and more. Upon successful completion, trainees will transition to a permanent Maintenance Technician role.

Responsibilities

• Participate in on-the-job training to learn maintenance skills.
• Progress through training levels: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced.
• Learn about safety procedures, tools, and basic tasks.
• Perform repairs with decreasing levels of supervision.
• Handle complex work as skills advance.
• Travel to nearby sister properties for training.
• Maintain reliable attendance.
• Provide customer service.
• Perform apartment turns.
• Engage in groundskeeping.
• Conduct preventative maintenance.
• Be on-call for specific duties.
