About The Position

Morgan Properties offers a full-time paid training program, the 'Fix It Forward Program', designed to train individuals to become Maintenance Technicians. No prior apartment maintenance experience is needed. The program is ideal for dependable individuals who are ready to learn and enjoy hands-on work. The training program typically lasts 3 to 6 months and is structured into three levels: Beginner (focus on safety, tools, basic tasks), Intermediate (more repairs, less supervision), and Advanced (complex work, preparing for a permanent role). Participants receive pay increases at each training level and a final increase upon permanent placement as a Maintenance Technician.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license required
• Travel to nearby sister properties for training
• Reliable attendance

• Able to work indoors and outdoors
• Able to lift tools and materials

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC basics
• Perform Plumbing basics
• Perform Electrical basics
• Perform Appliance repair
• Conduct Apartment turns
• Perform Groundskeeping
• Conduct Preventative maintenance
• Provide Customer service
• Follow Safety procedures
