About The Position
Morgan Properties is offering a full-time, paid training program to help you become a Maintenance Technician. This program, known as the Fix It Forward Program, requires no prior apartment maintenance experience. If you are dependable, eager to learn, and enjoy hands-on work, this is a great opportunity to start a career in the skilled trades. The training program lasts 3 to 6 months and involves moving through three levels: Beginner (focusing on safety, tools, and basic tasks), Intermediate (handling more repairs with less supervision), and Advanced (performing complex work and preparing for a permanent role).
Requirements
- Valid driver's license required.
- Reliable attendance.
- Positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn.
- Able to work indoors and outdoors.
- Able to lift tools and materials.
Responsibilities
- Learn and perform basic maintenance tasks.
- Undertake repairs with decreasing supervision as skills grow.
- Handle complex maintenance work as training progresses.
- Travel to nearby sister properties for training.
- Maintain reliable attendance.
- Lift tools and materials as needed.
